  3. These files are Amiga translations of a Public Domain King James New
  4. Testament, originally available on the Commodore 64. They were ported over
  5. using version 2.0 of ReadySoft's C64 Emulator.

  7. This ARC file contains the Four Gospels and the Book of Acts. A second ARC
  8. file contains the rest of the New Testament. When I get enough time, I hope
  9. to translate the Old Testament books as well.

  11. Unarc this file to a disk of its own. The unarced files will occupy
  12. approximately 85% of a freshly formatted 880K Amiga disk. The second NT
  13. ARC file is somewhat shorter--it only takes up about 62% of a disk.

  15. Each book is divided into separate files for each chapter. Each verse is
  16. preceded by the book name, chapter, and verse number, and is followed by a
  17. carriage return. It should be easy to write programs to search through
  18. these files. If you'd like to modify the format, just use any Amiga
  19. wordprocessor or text editor. These are just gool old standard Amiga ASCII
  20. files.
